Unfortunately, this article does not work with Apple products. You have to spend money and get a genuine Apple adapter, this thing is a disappointment and in the end it never worked at all.

This adapter didn't work with my iPhone 8. I connected a regular iPhone OEO headset, nothing happened, I didn't hear any sound in the headset. Also, the device does not support voice control of your iPhone. Useless.

You really do get what you pay for. Yes, you can use 3.5mm headphones with a light connector, but the sound quality is just terrible. I'm by no means a music lover, but there is a hum with these adapters that makes any listening experience frustrating. I highly recommend buying the official Apple version here.

They don't work with accessories even though they are "MFi" certified (which means they *should* work with accessories). They may work well with headphones (as advertised), but to work with card readers and other accessories, order the CORRECT item from Apple. I didn't even try the headphones because I didn't buy them for that.

I was hoping to use it for sports but didn't expect it to work. It's not like this. But it works with the NFL app to see highlights but not live games.
