DO NOT BUY - mismanufactured

Gauge appears to be of decent quality but is useless. because they didn't manage the passages between charging port (yellow hose connection) and down (blue hose) and up (red hose). Buy another set to make sure it was the pressure gauge and not something weird with my vacuum pump or car. And sure enough, I was able to pull the vacuum and charge my air conditioner. Learn from my mistake and instead of buying this set, buy a Harbor Freight R-134a converter set and buy R-1234yf to R-134a couplers…

Work well. But why not install a can piercing valve?

Sensors look and work well. I also ordered a knockout valve. When I got my hands on both, I knew I was in for some learning difficulties. The yellow refrigerant bottle hose has a 1/2" LH ACME thread. This can work with 10 lb refrigerant bottles, but it's a big problem when trying to connect a self-sealing bottle. You'll need a piercing valve for that, and the only ones that I've found have a 1/4" FLR outlet (hence a flare connection is required). The two things don't go together in any way…

READ BEFORE BUYING!

If you like making things yourself or don't have EPA certification for cans larger than 8 ounces, I would recommend the following tip. I thought I bought all the correct adapters but here I am waiting another 4 days to continue my project. Assuming you are adding refrigerant or evacuating the system, I would recommend the following points: 1.
