Don’t use the wire snap ring

Do not use the small wire Snap ring. They break off and destroy your cylinder. This is the second time I purchased this product and had this happen. It was very easy to install put together and ran great for several weeks but then there’s a catastrophic engine sees when these rings fall out. I suggest buying real snap rings and installing them. Other than that the product is great

The parts fit good did the top engine overhaul myself and the new engine run great.

I had scored cylinder wall ,the engine run ,but no power ,and started hard. Rebuilt the engine with the new parts making sure all parts went back in the same way .runs like it should when I finished .

Waste of money. in my review

Cylinder wall has several pits where coating didn't stick. Shotblast media destroyed spark plug & decomp threads. Burrs galor. Worth about half of what I spent. I would have returned it, but like most guys, I don't even have time to mess with sending it back. And they know that. I may never buy engine parts from Revain again. This is simply one part of many that I've recieved that are pretty shotty. I've had to rewrite my reveiw because they wouldn't accept my first one. Thanks for the…

The repair shop couldn't tell the difference

I bought this for my Dad to repair a Husqvarna Rancher55 with 15 seasons of firewood cutting on it. My parents heat solely with wood so his saw gets used quite a bit. His factory piston was scratched badly and the saw would no longer start.He installed the kit and it went well with the exception of a missing seal for the vacuum port to the fuel pump. The saw would start but not idle for long and it would not rev without running out of fuel. He took it to the shop where the problem was…

WORKED GREAT! good for me

THE EXHAUST SIDE OF THE PISTON AND CYLINDER WERE SCORED AND THE ENGINE WOULD NOT EVEN START. REPLACED WITH THIS CYLINDER PISTON KIT FOR A HUSQVARNA 55 AND IT WORKED GREAT SO FAR.

Good value for my opinion

Top end kit was complete and of good quality. My only complaint is the wrist pin retaining clips supplied in the kit are garbage, I reused my stock ones.

poor quality for my opinion

ive tried 2 of these they are very poor quality there were parts missing in this one it looked like someone had returned it before buyer beware on these cheap heads
