Don't get dry shafted

Loved the price and they look cool. If you use the provided adhesive strips use plenty of solvent as they are REALLY sticky. Kinda took me by surprise and I destroyed one of the grips. Got it half way on and Uh Oh. Gave them 4 stars cause I don't how well they'll hold up through the upcoming season. I'm Just a Hack' anyway or I'd have purchased Winn grips for like 2 and a half times more $$$$.

Pros
  • Half of season on these groups seem to hold up well good price
Cons
  • The grips may feel too bulky for some golfers, impairing their ability to grip the club comfortably

Fantastic Grips best in my review

These grips are fantastic. They work great, were easy to put on, and can't beat the price. No way will I pay golf pride prices again. FYI, I heard a lot of complaints about the tape that comes with the grips. I did NOT use their tape as I already had some so I don't know if it's good or bad. I would definitely recommend the grips though.

Pros
  • Better than expected for the price.
Cons
  • The grips can be difficult to install properly, requiring professional assistance at added cost

Great grips! best in my review

Great grips for the price! Easy to install using alcohol. The grips feel good and do not slip. I will buy these again! The grips require frequent cleaning and maintenance to prevent buildup of dirt and sweat, adding to upkeep time and cost!

Pros
  • Great feel, put them on my irons and really happy with how I'm hitting them.
Cons
  • The grips require frequent cleaning and maintenance to prevent buildup of dirt and sweat, adding to upkeep time and cost

Scratch golfer in my review

Always used the Golfpride and when I saw these had to give them a shot for the price. Awesome grips! No slips and can still work the ball.

Pros
  • Just wish the medium was a little thicker
Cons
  • The grips can wear out quickly with frequent use, requiring frequent replacement and added expense

Great bargain in my review

Always a Golf Pride guy, but after buying a brand new set of irons, spending another $150 wasn't something I wanted to do. Bought these Champkey's and love the feel.

Pros
  • Easy to install and have a good deal.
Cons
  • The micro-texture control can feel abrasive in the hands and irritate the skin

Great feel.easy to regrip

This was my first time at regripping my clubs. Easy. After the first few, it really goes quickly. These grips feel great. I've been using them for 3 months now; no complaints or signs of premature wear.

Pros
  • I love these grips...they are the right size and provide a super comfortable grip.
Cons
  • The medium feedback may not provide enough sensitivity to properly detect subtle changes in grip and swing technique

Difficult material in my review

I am giving 2 stars because of the material used on the bottom half of the grip. I had to destroy 3 of the grips because the amount solvent I had to use. I’ve changed dozens of grips before and I felt like my hands were going to be cramped for days. I’m sure the grips on the course are going to be fine but for all of the DIY people out there be warned! It’s not you! You must use 3x amount of solvent you would normally use otherwise the grip won’t go down on the club all the way. Make my mistake

Pros
  • Easy install came with tape love the Corded top
Cons
  • The grips may not provide enough support for golfers with hand or wrist injuries

Been using golf pride multi compound for years and these are just as good . Now The first thing you need to do is throw out the 2 way tape that comes with the grips! I’ve re-gripped a lot of clubs and whatever adhesive is on the tape that comes with the grips is junk! The first grip I installed with the supplied tape was scrapped because it setup before I could slip the grip on. Did the rest with the right tape and they slid on like silk. Use mineral spirits and a paper backed 2 way tape and…

Pros
  • The grips have a comfortable feel to them.
Cons
  • The grips may not be suitable for golfers with larger or smaller hand sizes, causing discomfort and reduced technique

Great affordable grips

Grips were just as advertised, went on easily, immediately improved my game over tired, hard grips. Would recommend and buy again.

Pros
  • They are very good grips I really like them
Cons
  • The adhesive tapes provided may not stick well, causing the grips to slip and slide during play
