Char Broil 6295797R06 Hot Clean Grill Brush Review

I gave this product a half star because half the lava rocks were so small they went right through the grate on my grill. Finally, I took out the stones, manually arranged the large pieces on the grid to form the first layer, and then placed the smaller stones on top of the larger ones. I will not buy this brand again.

Bought to use with my new grill to hold heat and catch grease and drips. I was happy with the amount of rocks I actually got and I put the big ones on the bottom to keep them from falling out and filled them with the smaller ones on top and not only does it work well but it looks great in my grill ! Good value for money, I would recommend.

It arrived in weird clean bad condition with no tags and most of the package that arrived was dust no joke. I opened it and it was blown away by the wind. What was left was only about a pound or two, and they were rocks too big to grill, or basically rocks so small they just fell through the grate and into the drip pan. Size about 5/8 minutes or less

The pieces are quite large about 1-4 inches, each one varies which is good. I tried using it as the bio-medium for a canister filter in a turtle tank because aquarists say it's a great bio-medium. This is not good for medi or turtle tanks. The stone bleeds and also excretes like an ash-sandy material that clouds the water even from a filter. Stick with grilling because it sucks for biocarriers.

Many apologies I cannot comment on grilling, circle fires, or keeping warm for long periods of time. Since these are lava rocks, they are said to be great for this type of action. I am writing this review in place of all of you who HATE large and small lava rocks. Especially those who LOSE THROUGH THE GRID. I bought them and started putting them on the grill, the little ones fell through and then I understood why my husband said when I asked if I could put them in HIS GRILL he said. "Go and have fun". To save $5 I bought this product due to the honesty of the brand, but the stones are more like small stones - half of them are so small that they can't get through the bars fall. so I had to throw away almost half of the bag, leaving only large chunks that couldn't fall through the grate.
