Connection needs strengthening

This is the third cable I have purchased for this device. Each time the connection between the cable and the (stupid) specialized connection to the tablet failed and shorted out. It's clear that things won't get any better. It didn't take long (at the factory) to tighten the connection, but everything I've tried since manufacturing has prevented the stupid connection to the tablet. There must be a way.

Better than the original

I bought a surface and after 1 day it stopped charging, I suspected the charger was to blame. I bought this charger and was very happy with it, the chord is longer and it just works like a charm, I definitely recommend this product.

Took only a month

Worked well so far. The quality of the material seems to be the same as on the Surface. It comes with a travel bag that makes too much noise. It won't get too hot. A nice touch is the extra end that attaches directly to the adapter. However, the charger lasted a little less than a month. When I plugged it in it made a POP noise and just stopped working. No visible damage, no big bang or anything like that. So I don't recommend it to other users.

Works great on my Surface Pro 6 and Surface Book

This charger works well on my Surface Pro 6 and Surface Book 2. It looks just as good as the original chargers but has a longer battery life cable . brick and plinth. It also comes with a power plug for easier use, which works great when I don't need such a long cord.

Overall pretty cool for the price. Better than original MSB adapter.

Item arrived as described. For those who had issues with the original Surface Book/product adapter, I think this might help. I bought this socket additionally. My main issue with the original adapter was that the material near the block was constantly fraying. These products use a similar material however the addition of a dowel shortens the length and if you 'wrap' or store it there is less chance of the outer material fraying. Works like the original

The 120 volt cable is longer, but the cable between brick and computer is shorter. The magnet on the computer connector is not as strong as the original, so it tends to fall out. Apart from the stated disadvantages, it works as described and I can't say that it differs from the original.
