⌚ Charles Hubert 3869 G Collection Gold Plated Mechanical Watch Review

This pocket watch might look good at a glance, but my analysis of this product showed that it had some serious flaws. Despite its gold plating, it felt cheap and flimsy in my hand, and the mechanical workings left a lot to be desired. For the price, there are much better options out there in the realm of men's pocket watches.

Beautiful watch. Cool. Lots of positive feedback from friends. I'm not sure, but I think it initially took 60-80 turns from full stop to full wind. Winding up twice a day takes about 20-30 turns to full wind. I've only had the watch for two days, but the accuracy hasn't changed by more than a second or two in that time. This watch is beautiful on the inside. The metal finish is a bit cheesy (wish they had a true matte finish). Also, on the second day the front "plastic” cover fell off - I snapped it back but I was afraid it would bounce off again and irreparably damage my hands! I will try to replace it with a sapphire and redo the case.
