I bought this pocket watch for $160 and it is beautiful but lacked description and instructions. At one point it says it's gold plated, but I couldn't find that information on the box. It also says it has a battery but it started and I couldn't find the battery. I decided to return the watch and examine the pocket watch. This pocket watch is absolutely beautiful. I gave it to my daughter who is about to graduate from high school. I have bought a couple of Revain pocket watches and these are great quality and my favourite.

The name "Charles-Hubert Paris" is an invention as this watch has nothing to do with France or Switzerland. which must be entered manually. No pocket watch is powered by "automatic wind", which refers to a kinetic rotor powered by movement of the wrist (in the case of wristwatches). The listing of this watch in the specs section as "Swiss Automatic" is 100% misleading.

Bought for my father-in-law for his birthday, I was impressed with the quality. Photos do not convey the watch. It looks great from all angles, and as a dual hunter, you can open the front and back to reveal the 17 jewel movement. Holds very well and my father-in-law was very satisfied.

Nice. But both sides do not fully open. This makes him look a bit awkward. The watch would be better if both the front and back could be fully opened.
