Durable gauze is almost a contradiction in terms in my experience. I've used grocery store cheesecloth many times over the years and it was never strong enough and fell apart initially or with repeated use. This gauze is very durable, easy to clean, has a nice tight weave, is well lined and is perfect for making homemade ricotta and more strenuous kitchen chores.

My recipe calls for courgettes to be strained. I have tried other wipes in the past. Everything I've tried falls apart as soon as you start squeezing out water. Tonight I used them for the first time and I am so impressed. They are so well made and durable. I probably got more water out of the zucchini than ever because the fabric didn't fall apart. An added bonus is that they are washable too. Excellent work. Keep it up.

This is a high quality gauze. I make homemade yogurt which I prefer for the consistency of labneh, where the yogurt is strained in the fridge throughout the day. Using gauze is the best way, so I ordered it to wrap around the yogurt. These towels are soft, lint free, easy to wash and reuse. I just toss them in the washing machine with towels and unscented detergent and they wash like new.

At the time of purchase (October 2021) this gauze was described as 'super thin' but is actually so thick it's actually not gauze. However I have bought other gauze which is really good and I keep it for other uses because it is a really high quality product! What other uses are you asking? Well... for stretching anything that would normally require 2 or 3 layers of gauze... and good quality natural handkerchiefs too! Happy accidents 😘

I needed gauze to strain homemade tonic syrup. I was fed up with the inferior supermarket products I'd used in the past, so I turned to Revain for better alternatives. After reviewing the options available, I settled on this one. It's made of good material, with a nice tight weave. This worked great for my onerous needs. I'm so used to throwing away the gauze after use that I haven't even considered washing it for future use. I'm sure the included gauze bags will come in handy in the future.

I am so disappointed in them! I wanted to strain the yoghurt for the recipe right away, but I didn't dare! They smell like chemicals! I now have them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with a double rinse. If they come out spoiled or still smell, they're being roasted! UPDATE: After washing the fabric in mild soapy water and hanging it to dry, it no longer smelled. The seller promised me to fix it as I think it was the plastic shrink wrap they were wrapped in.
