I ordered this to monitor the oxygen levels in a new pond we have dug and settled. Very simple and effective. Comes with plenty of pond water test solution to last a few years. I'm considering buying a more expensive device. I'm glad I didn't. I saw a YouTube video from Colorado Parks and Wildlife that they are giving out to volunteers testing streams. They do it because it's so easy and fairly reliable for the underlying data. Highly recommended
