Chemical Guys BUFX_105HEX6 Polishing Finishing Review

These are great pads, I have used them with Meguiar's Ultimate Polish and got amazing results. Keep in mind that I wash my car weekly and detail it monthly so my paint was already in great condition but had the typical signs of wear and tear from 7 years of daily driving (swirls, light scratches, holograms etc.). I was looking for a pad that had a little more buffing than a buffing pad but not too much and this was it. The combo was made in heaven. Will definitely buy again!

After being used on three different vehicles, they show signs of wear but no signs of wear (pitting or cracks). All comments about it being too small for 7" are 100% correct so here are some pictures to prove it. Velcro surface 5 in diameter It will stick to the buff but this will cause the surface to become concave so only the outside edge of the pad touches the surface A heavy plastic ring is placed on the buff hook and loop so the pad covers everything else than is flat.I bought this to polish the tile floor in the race deck garage and buying an expensive car looks like I wasted my money.I would never

I am a professional detailer. I have long used Meguiar Solo diamond blades with their flexible base. I like smaller pads and flexible end plates, with the exception of the 3m Perfect Pads which are sometimes suitable for large flat screens. The smaller design allows you to maneuver the side mirrors and trunk contours much more easily. When they discontinued the single diamond pads my choice of pads in this size was reduced.
