Chemical Guys Gap_V36_04 Optical Cutting Review

This polish has three stars. I expected him to be a lot more aggressive than he was. I think this is more for beginners trying to polish their car on their own. I used almost the entire bottle on a midsize sedan. I won't buy it again but it did its job.

I bought a trio of v32, v36 and v38 for my Mazdaspeed6 black mica. I used this to downgrade to v32 and it seems to have done the job well. I say "looks like" because both parts of the panel look very similar (32 vs. 36). I would still say that you need to back down before buffing (38). However, when all 3 products work together, the result is a very clean, dewy finish. I have to wet sand, but you can't expect a carry cord to remove everything. Although I would give this polish 5 stars there is one thing to complain about. This is not usually perceived as a negative, but in this case: there is too much product in the bottle. While it's usually always a good idea to fill the bottle to the brim, it's a downside for this polish. The product can't move in the bottle when you first open it to shake and mix the polish.
