Chemical Guys WAC_114 Detailer Protectant Review

This is my favorite auto detailer of all time. I use it every time I fly to keep the surface slippery and shiny. The smell is excellent. Makes the hangar smell like cotton candy/chewing gum etc. I can't judge if it really protects anything but I use it on all types of vehicles and I'm very happy with the results. A gallon lasted about a year and stayed fresh the whole time in a hot hangar/garage.

I bought this product to wipe down my Jeep between washes and when I was too lazy to wash it. It works like a dream. I use it with every wash and between washes. I use it on black plastic and paint. I pretty much use it top to bottom except for my soft top. I love watching water drip onto my hood when it rains. Will definitely order more when I run out. Great product and I definitely recommend this product

I like this product for the shine it gives to the paint. It's not very durable for added protection. I love the smell, my biggest issue I had with this product was that after a few months while in the gallon jar the chemicals in the product started to bind together and formed this mushy stuff that was clogging my atomizers smelled terrible. I would only buy a 16 ounce bottle unless you are going to use up that gallon quickly.

Just did some tests on my old truck and it works great! Silky soft and deep shine. However, I can't say I agree with the "cotton candy" smell. Maybe the bottle I received was a bad batch or the taste has gone bad, but it smells like rotten meat mixed with warm applesauce. I thought that's how I mixed it up in my spray bottle, but even out of the container it makes me vomit. Next time I'll try something with a milder scent.

I love this stuff. I asked a question and a few people on Revain answered it, leading me to buy it. It works great as a wiping spray between washes and will definitely leave a layer of wax on the paint. It smells like bubble gum and I can use it on everything in my car; plastic, glass, paint, metal. this thing is amazing. Really great express divider. But again, because you're in the cheaper realm of quick detail sprays. It worked as advertised. If you want more shine, suggest the CG Hybrid V07. I was in a dilemma and had to use P40 as a clay lubricant. It worked perfectly for that. I love the smell of cotton candy. I would honestly pay for the smell alone, it made my entire garage smell like cotton candy within 2-3 days of one waterless wipe. Be warned though, it picks up very fine dust after a few days of use.
