I have twin girls who sometimes like to wear their 'pinky' at night. They will be 5 in August so I was concerned if these pacifiers would work. Needless to say they were both wearing them when we turned off the lights and within 5 minutes they were both falling out of their mouths from sound asleep! Great products.

So I saw a review on another product that talked about the possibility of mold growing inside the pacifier due to water getting on the back of the pacifier. They are completely ventilated through the hole in the nipple part. Doesn't really help as it helps my daughter breathe. It's 2 but for me it's definitely a win as I'm not afraid of mold as it can be fully aerated.

My daughter doesn't like them yet. They seem small for the age rating and the part they suck on doesn't seem very solid. We used Advent but were looking for an alternative that could be ortho-technically better. I also ordered MAM. Haven't tried them yet but they are a lot bigger and thicker and if your little one is teething I would probably be more comfortable with the MAM brand. This is what we used for our first and never had to switch to anything else.

Overall I like them. My baby doesn't like straight nipple pads so they are great, especially when we first took her hands out of the diaper and she used to pull ring pads out of her mouth many times. However, I have found that when I wash, water gets into the nipple (I think it gets to the edges of the round part in front) and I have to try several times to squeeze it out, but this makes me skeptical that this will happen (since the patches are on never dry out completely this way). The hardest part for me was finding a pacifier that my 4 month old would take with him. The biggest problem is that they are all almost heavy and often just fall out of the mouth. They solve this problem, they are very light and I really like the shape of their nipples. My kids just hated nipples and always preferred that shape. I also didn't know they glow in the dark, which is amazing when it's midnight and you're trying to find a dropped pacifier! that they don't have a ring at the back…
