I ordered one a few months ago, it was made of different materials, stronger and smoother. I just order another set, the plastic is different, much less seems lighter and the edges aren't smooth anymore, even the big squares they took out of the inner squares.

Bought as a present for a 4 year old girl. The magnets are a little strong at times to be honest, but they also don't come off that easily so they won't break if tapped lightly. She builds stables and "castles" for the dolls. Really seems to like it. The parts appear to be reasonably well put together and there are no troubling flaws to mention.

Can't believe I bought these almost 2 years ago. They hold up so well. Just like magnets. I also bought another set for my niece (2 years old) and she loves them. I love how versatile and durable they are. Plus, they're super easy to pick up because... well, they're magnets! You can also stick them on the fridge! And experiment to see what sticks to the magnets!

These tiles are awesome! They're nice and thick plastic and the magnets work great on them. It even comes with a car thing with wheels you can build on. They're the same as Magna tiles, but at half the price. They are really strong and the magnets have never fallen out of the ones I have. I bought 2 of these sets and both are holding up well (even for a 3 year old who isn't always gentle with his toys).

We received them as a gift to another preschooler after receiving them as gifts and loved them very much. Get as big a set as possible so you can build a lot of things. Our 4 year old daughter plays with it for hours. She loves making boxes and putting "gifts" in them for us or building houses for her toys etc. The magnets fit snugly in place but are easy to detach if you want. None of the pieces fell apart in our set, so they seem pretty sturdy too.

Love these. I feel strong and can handle my 3 year old who doesn't particularly like toys. I also like that the magnets are inside. So if a small child is nearby, there is no immediate danger of suffocation from falling magnets. The magnets will be exposed if the tile breaks, but some brands of magnetic tile have the magnets on the outside. The 60 piece set was fun to collect, but I bought a second set so I could collect more variety and have a different wheelbase (since they match).

These magnet toys gave my daughter hours of imaginative play. I am planning to buy her an additional set in a larger size in addition to the one I have already purchased. This brand's magnets are not as strong as the set that is in the preschool. One-sided cubes and shapes can be moved, but larger assemblies will collapse if you try to move them. My daughter builds three story houses and they stick together - just don't rotate them or we've had a tornado and we're going to have to restore. But…

We had Magna-Tiles for our first child when he was little (now 14) and have thrown them away ever since. We now have children aged 2 and 4 and were dying for them to have a set too. When I first received them I was very disappointed with the quality. I liked the ones I bought last year and wanted to add more to the collection. I bought 2 of these as well as several other sets of magnetic squares, triangles etc. Our 4 year old grandson had a few of these blocks before he started Kindergarten this year.
