nice spoon at a reasonable price

nice spoon and at a reasonable price. It was a huge hit for my new grandson (actually his parents as he has no idea what it is).

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • upgrades

DANGEROUS PURCHASE - Shame on Reed & Barton!

This is a nice spoon and is the right size for a child's pen BUT the end of the curved handle is sharp and could gouge out a child's eye! SERIOUS!? Who designed it?

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Appearance

but not picky.

High quality detailing. Difficult. The new mothers who received it as a gift were thrilled. The only slight downside is the fact that there was no cotton or tissues in the gift box and I had to fumble around to find something nice to keep it from rattling.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Perfect gift for a child

The spoon feels as cute as it looks. A wonderful gift for a mother-to-be whose child is born with a silver spoon, if not in her mouth then in her hand. The spoon is lightweight so a mother feeding her baby with one hand and holding her with the other should have no problem. It would be fun to use.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Empty

Easy for her at 8 months

Just what I was looking for in a baby who can feed himself. At 8 months she is doing it with ease, now at 11 months she is learning to scoop up pasta and small cubes of watermelon. My English mother had a pusher set. I haven't found any for a good price. This works well for learning to eat from an even-sided bowl.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Why I fell in love with the spoon

Exactly the same spoon my mom used to teach her kids to eat by themselves. The only other item I plan to purchase is the 'pusher' that came with the toddler set. The boy used a "slider" to slide his food onto the spoon so her hands weren't used. (English style food! No food to touch.

Pros
  • Good Montage
Cons
  • No
