They are good and I wanted to use them to put the whole family's stockings on the coat - so yes they worked but I made the mistake of hanging the stockings , after they were filled in for the picture. It was too much weight and things started to sag. I got a good picture but then removed a lot of it to save weight.

This is a great solution for hanging stockings without damaging the rain jacket. I have to admit that they are not the most aesthetic, but the practicality outweighs them in my opinion. I also like that when/when my two or four year old puts the stockings on the rubber grip keeps them in place and they are light weight in case they take them off and get slapped in the face, which happens.

I like the concept and it's stronger than those garter belts that just sit on top of the robe but we've been through some little barbarians that pull on stockings and even we adults pull too tight. They looked as trashy as they performed. The best option would be a metal coil in the same way. If it exists, we'll get it next year.

These Christmas garter belts are perfect for what I need. The rubber upper seems to stay in place and doesn't scratch the coat. They don't slip, but even if they did, the bottom would rest on the bottom of the coat and not let the hanger fall off. Although this may depend on the size of your robe. Haven't worn anything over the stockings yet so can't confirm how much weight the holders can support but I really like them and will use them every year.
