This is my daughter's second pair of Cientas. I loved the first pair very much, wore them until I grew up. However, this second pair, which is the same shoe in the next size up, remains no velcro! I saw another review from May 2017 complaining about the same issue. I am not sure if there is a quality control issue but this is very disappointing. They are so cute but not functional! Will return.

I love these shoes for my little girl! They're good enough for her to still feel like a princess, but still sturdy for walking and playing at school! Can be worn with pants or dresses! And she loves the fruity scent!

Super sweet! My 5 year old has narrow feet which makes it particularly difficult to find Mary Jane shoes. These fit her perfectly! She liked the flexible sole and found the scent very pleasant. I love the simple design that goes with most of her outfits and of course (most importantly!) they fit her!

The strap fell off the shoes a month after my daughter put them on. I ordered them a year ago. They were too big, so we waited this school year. Three weeks into the school year I received a call from the school and was told that I had to bring her a new pair because the shoes had fallen apart.

These shoes came with the glue dried and the insoles weren't even attached. I hate writing negative reviews because the shoes are cute. But I can't get over the poor quality of the pair we received. Very disappointed with this purchase.

I have never received a shoe without the inside attached so at first I thought it was an extra insole. After the inspection, it was clear that the insert could not be dispensed with, as the glue underneath had simply dried. I can't even say it's poor quality because it goes above and beyond. $38 isn't expensive, but next time I'll spend it on a reputable brand. Absolutely terrible.
