Terrible Spline Drive Forged Experience

This tool is a complete waste. My analysis of this product showed that it feels cheap, and I had trouble fitting it onto my automotive wheel. The one pro is that it looks nice, but that's not enough to justify the price. The con is that it is not durable and doesn't perform as advertised. I do not recommend this tool to anyone in need of a reliable wheel tool for their automotive needs.

Pros
  • Strong and durable due to being forged
Cons
  • Limited fitment options for certain vehicles

Nuts & Accessories Quality Issue

One of the internally threaded nuts was broken, it looks like the tap was broken about 2/3 of the way. Luckily I have a 1/2 20 tap and was able to break it in and secure the nut. Otherwise they are pretty good.

Pros
  • Accessories & Parts
Cons
  • Frequency

Thread cleaning required

They are painted and look good on the outside but the paint is on the threads too. I spent almost an hour getting a cock in each of them to actually screw them onto the studs. It was necessary to spend extra money and buy a kit from McGard.

Pros
  • Tires and rims
Cons
  • Can't remember
