The wooden pins were not properly attached to the metal ends of the cords. This caused the yarn to catch on rough, jagged edges. I used sandpaper and sanded the pins smooth against the metal ends and now they work fine. Also, two cords broke off the metal ends (while I was knitting) which was unfortunate. I reattached them with super glue but now I'm afraid they will fall apart again. I wouldn't recommend them unless you're willing to make some changes yourself.

I was given this set and have been using it for a few months now. A normal set for the price. It has a good range of cable lengths and comes with adapters to extend the cables together. Needles were both good and bad. Most needles seem to have a normal connection, but the ones that were bad were really bad. The price of these needles appealed to me. However, upon receipt, they turned out to be inferior. There were fragments, at their junctions there was no smoothness between the connectors in the wood. The yarn holders that screw into the ends of the cords to hold your yard when you're not knitting weren't of the highest quality. I would not recommend buying these needles.
