Very satisfied! suitable for cycling

Even though it's a bit expensive, it's worth every penny to me. I mainly ride gravel roads and mountain bikes and have had back problems ever since. After about eight rides I consider this a great success. I will never drive without one.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Fair

5 stars minus 2 equals 3

This thing is springy and needs some kind of damping built into the springs. A protective cover must be included with purchase. spray straight way of the rear wheel off the road! The cover isn't even available on Amazon.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • There are new competitors

DO WHAT YOU SAY. IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IT, UNDERSTAND IT.

Basically, I like the new spring mail. The seatpost is also adjustable for seat tilt, as well as lighter or heavier springs to suit your weight and load. Sometimes the feathers creak. Not all of the time. Not very loud. Not the main problem. So I smeared furniture wax onto the spring seats (used for squeaky drawers etc.). I never noticed again. I needed it so badly because of my prostate issues. Doesn't matter. I also wanted to take more space, but so far it hasn't been necessary.

Suspension is gravel friendly

I've been riding gravel a lot lately and can't do more than 30 miles. I've narrowed the field down to Cirrus and Redshift seatposts are coming out soon. Based on a very positive recommendation from friends who have it on their tandem and the fact that Redshift wasn't available yet, I chose the Cirrus and I'm glad I did. I rode 26 miles on gravel and felt better than ever and didn't get sick the next day. I'm in the upper weight range so I can try the heavier spring it comes with to see the…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Easy to install adjustable suspension

The Cirrus Cycles KINEKT 2.1 suspension seatpost is very comfortable. There is a tension adjustment wrench Allen key to adjust the tension. There are additional springs that either increase or decrease the tension. The hanging shelf brings real comfort to your tummy. I had ORIF with my neck and back surgery. I have osteoarthritis. "This hanging bar is safer for life. No more jerky movements for your pelvis, back and neck. I have osteoarthritis of the spine. I had a neck fusion and a lower back…

  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Available in black only

Essential when riding bad roads

A few things to consider: • If you're considering a suspension fork, try it first. Most likely you won't need it. • If in doubt, buy the heavier version. It comes with an extra set of springs one size smaller if you find the heavy spring too stiff. • You can combine a heavy spring with a lighter one. Just remember to use the right length. I weigh about 200 pounds and use a 200-260 spring on top and 150-200 on the bottom. • If you have a carbon frame, get a carbon or aluminum frame, get an…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

I ride lightly and for some reason some tiny cotter pins were cut off, somehow related to holding the pivoting suspension. I do not know what to do. Bought a new one and hope it doesn't happen again. I was within the weight limit for the model. TO UPDATE. I bought it for the second and third time and it has the same little screw problem. In photo 3 you can see the tiny head of the tiny screw that broke. These screws are not strong enough to support the rack function. You'll have to buy an easy…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • There are nuances

I've wanted this seat post for my Juiced Bikes CCS e-bike for a long time. Meets and sometimes exceeds my expectations. Makes my rides a lot smoother on our rough roads. Now I spend a lot more time sitting down instead of standing on the pedals over bumps. In this case, all "road noise" disappears. My back is no longer numb after a 20 mile ride! I'm still trying to avoid big holes so I don't have to mess with the hub motor and wheel. CCS with this seatpost helps a lot in keeping the ground…

To appreciate you have to feel! Great product!

This is one of those WOW! It could look like that. It's absolutely amazing what this little gem can do. Let the bike do all the work and you'll start a smooth ride! EDIT: I don't usually edit my answers, but I'm wondering if I can get a larger editable text box. In any case, I would like to mention a few things about this product that I feel the ads didn't cover properly. First, I found that it introduces you to a whole new way of cycling. To me, I'm a sidewalk cruiser. I go out when I have to…
