I would give 10 stars if I could!

Excellent cable modem! I was trying to help a neighbor, a disabled veteran. He's very shy and doesn't let anyone into his house, but he was keen on basic internet service after another neighbor bought him a used laptop. The first modem we ordered was not compatible with either Comcast or their Magic Jack service. When I returned the first modem, this DOMO DEALS company contacted me that same day and offered to help me find the right modem. I explained the difficult situation and they…

Best for Comcast/Xfinity Blast customers

I mounted this vertically on a cabinet I keep my printer and router about 3 inches from the wall. I haven't had any overheating issues and I'm seeing 170-185Mbps all the time with no slowdown during the day or evening. Take full advantage of the Xfinity X1 Blast pack I signed up for. I had no issues with the used/refurbished unit I purchased. I have a large home/business network with multiple routers and access points, and this modem handles traffic well thanks to 8x4 DOCSIS 3.0 hardware and…

Works great and continues to work!

I've had other cable modems that get very hot and don't last long. This modem and earlier models work perfectly. They never need to be reset. It manages 75 Mbit/s without any problems. Please note that every time you connect a different router, you have to restart the modem. Pairing is in progress and unless you reset the device, the new router will not be able to get an IP address from the modem.

I would give this modem 5 stars except for one small issue which I will address later. For the most part, this is a great modem. I bought it to replace a rented modem from TWC that was dropping my internet connection several times a day. During the time I had this Cisco modem, my internet didn't go down. And even though I only have standard internet, my connection speed seems slightly faster, although admittedly this is subjective. I'm also pleased with the company because they include a little

Great modem for use with 100Mbps+ Business Class Internet!

This product works as intended. We bought it used and it works great. This is a 3.0 modem that can provide true high-speed Internet access (over 100Mbps). It works well and is CISCO so it's very reliable. My husband makes his living in IT, so he knows all about these things. The prices suck, but he doesn't buy anything but CISCO when it comes to routers and modems. However, reliability is always worth the extra cost. We generally remove products based on ISP demand, not hardware failure. Our…

Good modem until I noticed the difference.

Good modem So far I haven't been able to tell any difference to my old Motorola Surfboard modem. I bought this modem due to a sudden packet loss on my network after Comcast came out to check the signal and what not. They said it was a modem but as usual it wasn't so I bought a cheap refurbished one just in case. and thank goodness I did it because the repair works perfectly and only cost me $30. Packet loss persists, but it's not the modem: Wireshark and various other network programs I've run…

Basic modem for people who don't want to spend much

bought it because I had to, I had a choice of Comcast or Verizon where I moved in November. I bought this with a $20 dual band router and couldn't be happier. only problems with comcast, the combo works fine with no problems since i started using it. I also like that the box is quite small. makes it more convenient to place.

Perfect setup for our Comcast internet service

We subscribed to Comcast's high speed cable internet service but didn't want to pay the monthly rent for a router we didn't need (I already had a good wireless network) . routers). I just needed a modem. That's where this boy came in. Cisco is a leading provider of telecommunications equipment and services, and this cable modem lives up to that reputation. We simply connected a coax cable to one end and an ethernet cable to the other. He just started working straight away. I've connected this…
