Colorful Metallic Girls' Clothing Leggings by City Threads Review

I bought these in a metallic green mermaid print for my daughter to wear to her mermaid themed birthday party and she loved them. After the party she wanted to wear them all the time and has now worn them several times. They proved to be very comfortable, soft, fairly thick, and well-tailored, and unlike other similar-looking leggings sold at Best Buy, the shiny fabric and scales really held up, even after multiple washes. Highly recommended, maybe I'll buy more.

Daughter loves these rainbow leggings. The colors are still bright and shiny after a few months of washing and the fabric is durable. Highly recommended!

Super cute leggings. My daughter does not complain that they are uncomfortable. Fits perfectly. They change color as it transitions from greenish to gold.

I ordered a normal size and washed before fitting. You will need to go up at least one size, but maybe two, depending on where your child is on the fit scale. Ordered a size up and hopefully they don't sit tight against the skin and form the top of the muffin.

The foil leggings are very pretty, but the fabric definitely doesn't feel as comfortable as the cotton versions. Also, the pink leggings will bleed paint onto anything it touches (other underwear, leather, etc.) whenever it gets wet. The shiny silver version looks the same but doesn't have any color transfer issues so I like it a lot more.

Leggings were needed for the school play. They arrived on time and well packaged. The size corresponded to the size chart. The leggings are as described, well made and a beautiful gold color with black markings. My granddaughter wears a size 12, I ordered a size 14 and a size 12 and 14 would fit. My granddaughter loved her as much as her teacher and classmates.

I bought size 14 for an average height 9 year old girl. I changed her size 10 to a size 14 so she could enjoy them a little longer than a pair of leggings. I'm so sick of these sizes. much less than presented along with disappointment and worsening of returns. I'll help you, that size 14 corresponds to a child's size 8 in the real world. you come back

Bought for Halloween. It is stretchy and suitable for good weather. Not recommended in hot summer weather. The leggings shine and my child didn't mind. Cut off the inner lobes as they are very scratchy.

My son didn't think my 8 year old granddaughters would like it. They not only LOVE them, they want to wear them every day! May be too expensive for some families.

I bought them 1.5 years ago for a Halloween costume for my daughter, hesitant because of the price but took a chance. I am very happy with the quality and she still wears them often. At first I washed them very gently in the cold and air dried them, but I've now tumble dried them and they still look brand new. I definitely recommend them and will buy more in the future. I wish I could remember more about the sizes but as far as I can remember they were true to size.

I bought a photo of my granddaughter for Christmas. She had a top that fit them great BUT it was very itchy and uncomfortable for her. A little pricey for one time wear for 20 minutes but the quality is good.

My daughter is between 5T and 6, after reading the reviews I went for 6 and they fit perfectly and shimmer just as well as the picture. I love them on her, so cute!

I like that they are made in the USA. They were so cute on my 2 year old. Shiny black metallic made them look like tiny leather pants.

I'm trying to support this brand because it's one of the few children's brands that are made in the USA. The clothes are a bit pricey and the cotton versions are worn like the cheaper ones you buy everywhere (so they fade quickly) but they are amazing. They keep their color and last a long time. They survive dance lessons, school and games! We have them in several colors.

My daughter is very picky about spiked pants. They are very smooth inside. And she loves them. Pants get a lot of attention!

Loved it! Bought for my 12 year old Halloween costume, she wears a 7-8 in waist but she needs 10-12 in length so it was a bit big in the waist but I thought she looked really cute and she keeps them even after Halloween parties are over.

These leggings fit perfectly and give the impression of a real mermaid tail. You have a feel under the armor/bathing suit. My daughter loves her and thinks she is a mermaid now!
