I bought this for an elderly relative because its noise is too loud. It's not like this. The younger relative listened to him and said that he was of a very normal volume.

Excellent phone; however, it does not fit my stepfather's hearing aids. Apparently the hearing aid technology is TOO NEW for this phone. Customer service at Clarity is a fantastic idea. The guy I spoke to tried everything and was very helpful but in the end the phone didn't do what I wanted. It pairs easily with a mobile phone, so it can be useful not only for what I originally bought it for, but also for pairing with hearing aids.

You can use your mobile phone at home to make calls with or without a landline. Pairing up to two Bluetooth phones was confusing for me. This option allows you to connect your cell phone and use the Clarity 599 to make a cell phone call when your cell phone is within a few feet. I don't see any advantage in this. I received this phone for the express purpose of using it for making calls with a bluetooth headset paired to the phone. I'm fine when the headset is paired with my phone and I can receive calls on the headset if I put it on when a call comes in. However, I cannot make calls with the headset. I spoke to Plantronics but was told to speak to Clarity. I spoke to Clarity and the first person I spoke to suggested that I was an idiot for not being able to make calls - he just didn't understand what I
