Apparently you need a special driver.

Buttons work, control panel doesn't. The box says you need a special driver. The description on Amazon says exactly the opposite. And where can I get this special driver from? To return.

The gameplay is the same as in the classic SNES. Robust construction.

Great for any platform game and looks like the old SNES. I always had problems with other controllers and their DPad. They always seemed cheap, stiff and unusable. This controller is like the slick rubber that was designed for the SNES in the 90's. It doesn't have thumbsticks like other brands. But the feeling is there.

Doesn't work on Mac -- NOT plug and play as advertised

The product description says "SNES USB controller with standard USB 2.0 connector, plug and play on PC and Mac or Mac mini, no need to install drivers." But on the box it says "Mac -System needs a special driver." I just tried to use the controller with OpenEmu on my MacBook Air version 10.11.6 (El Capitan) and it only recognizes a few keys. I searched google and couldn't find any drivers for the controller. I've spent hours downloading other drivers and trying to get them to work, but I can't…

The Y-axis of the d-pad shows the result as a 5-axis and the X-axis of the d-pad shows the 1, 2, 3 and 4 axes.

The buttons work, but the Y-axis of the d-pad appears as axis 5 and the X-axis of the d-pad appears as axis 1 and is duplicated on axes 2, 3 and 4. Axis 0 is always enabled. All controllers are activated. I don't know of any player who wants their game to think they pressed 5 keys when they pressed left or right! The product looks and feels good, but that means nothing if the product doesn't work really well! What's more, while the buttons work, they're in a strange order. X is 0, like in a bad
