Classic Style: Women'S Plaid Pleated Skirt With Elastic Waistband - Perfect For School Uniform Review

I actually love this skirt! Very well made and thick. The reviews mentioned size up and I did. I shouldn’t have so as comparison for size- I am 5’3 my measurements for waist and hip are 35 inch waist and 45 inch hips. I ordered an x-large. I should have gotten a large but I do plan on buying more some I fell in love!

I bought this skirt for my 13 y/o daughter for her Halloween costume. I will say the skirt is a bit on the shorter side so she did wear shorts underneath. Also the material is a bit thin and the quality of the fabric isn’t all that great. We decided to order a size up considering it has an elastic waste and skirts like these tend to run small. Still wears occasionally so it’s held up pretty nice so far.

I was planning on wearing this skirt for a dress up day at my school and was in need of a black and white plaid skirt. It was a good skirt but it is a little short and that is saying something coming from a girl who was wearing it to a public high school. It has an elastic waistband so if you want a nice fit buy the skirt one size too big and it will look like a skirt not a sexy school girl costume.

Great! Came in with correct size and color. And it has great material. The only downside is it didn’t come in with the little button on the side like in the picture. However, it’s still a cute skirt!

The skirt pleats fit fine and were really adorable. There is a slip inside the skirt that was way too tight. I just pulled the slip up (didn’t have time to try to remove it) and it worked well after that.

Not a skirt you would wear for everyday use. The material is so low quality. Use for a costume not to add to your wardrobe.Usually wear a Xl-2Xl I have a smaller waist but bigger hips so this skirt fit but did not look right. No stretch other than the waist band. It fit and looked more like a pencil skirt NOT a free flowing pleated skirt.

Ugh, I just do not like this material. It poofs out and makes you look super fat. There’s too many layers. And it’s overall just not very well made.

Perfect fit because of the elastic waistband, my favorite skirt. Great material, really soft. Elastic does tend to bunch up, but you can readjust it easily

this skirt is so comfortable soft and amazingly made. is fun an playful. I wear a size 10-12 pants and skirts but I go this one in XL just to make sure the elastic doesn't dig in. I can't wait to play school.

I ordered 2 sizes up, as recommended by other reviews. Fits nice; not tight or too loose. Looks great. Used this for a uniform cosplay.

bought these for my very tall daughter, they are not super short so she is able to wear them with out worry. they have a lining on the inside that she loves and they maintain the pleats after washes.

I really like this skirt, but I should’ve gotten a large because the Xlarge is way too big 😂 it’s my own error, other than that the material is amazing and soft and the pleats are so cute!

This skirt is so cute in the photos, I was disappointed that in real life it was so poorly sewn. The pleats look good but the lining is cheap and tearing and the seams around the waistband look like I could have sewn them (and I am NOT a seamstress so that is not a compliment to anyone). The fabric is coarse but I imagine it will soften up with a few washes. Because it is put together in an odd fashion, the skirt bunches up awkwardly around where the pleats meet the waistline whether it is on…

Perfect for my Halloween costume this year! I chose this one because it was the only one that didn't look ridiculously short, and it wasn't. The waist band is elastic, so it was super comfortable all day.

After reading the reviews I ordered much larger than my eleven year daughter’s normal size. She is 5’2” and 130 pounds. The XL fits her comfortably. It’s very cute! She loves the white stripe accent on the bottom of the skirt and the elastic waistband is comfortable for wearing. These definitely run small so keep that in mind when ordering.

I'm small, 5'2", 98 pounds and I ordered small, although it fits fine it is a little tight on my waist. Love this skirt, I get compliments on it everytime I wear it - it's super cute paired with knee high socks

This skirt was a bit of a disappointment. The elasticized waist gives it an odd fit. It doesn’t lay flat along the stomach and hip as it should. I’d pass on it.

The skirt itself is really cute and totally delivered. The waistband is very elastic, so it's just a little difficult to find the right spot to have it on your tummy. Worth it though! I got a medium and I am 155 pounds.

This is one of the nicer pleated skirts I’ve worn. It’s average size, not really plus size.
