Ace is one of my favorite brands. Their quality has always been consistent across the entire product line. While I was tempted to try other brands, including some of the other brands featured on Revain, I had to remind myself that sometimes low price doesn't necessarily mean quality. This rattail comb has a durable look for easy handling with a smooth, molded construction for comfort.

My first order for Ace Rat Tailed Combs was a full comb, missing tag, had to return the order to UPS and then re-order and finally got my Ace Rat Tailed Combs. A little disappointed that he wasn't caught in transit and had to deal with returning and re-ordering. In the end I finally received my order for 3 Ace Rat Tailed Combs. Thanks very much!

You're fine. I wish the description said they are plastic like every other comb you can find. I was looking for a type that felt more rubbery so it wouldn't break in two as easily.

Nothing beats the ACE comb and the proportions of this classic-tipped comb make it easy to use. ACE combs tend to have very closely spaced teeth, which I like for my coarse hair, and I also like the weight (thickness) of the teeth. Thicker plastic tears my hair and thinner plastic just doesn't fit. The teeth are the same size (my husband prefers combs with teeth of different thicknesses and spacing). I've tried cheaper tail combs and the teeth came out when I used them to remove excess hair from my cat. It's hard to believe because I don't have a lot of stress. I used my own old comb to use as the grand finale of her grooming session and banged on with the new Ace tail comb. You can't beat the Ace hairbrush!
