Save money. They are absolutely useless in every way.

ADVANTAGES: Easy to use and fits most types of drains even if the cork doesn't come out completely. CONS: Strange packaging. The sticks break when opened and the division into sections does not help protect unused sticks. Either there is no smell or there is an unpleasant smell. I didn't smell anything at all until a few days later when I noticed a very strong plant odor (unpleasant) which may or may not be related. but it got better after more water was poured down the drain.

Works great against odors! I bought it knowingly because our tap water has a high iron content and there are unpleasant odors when the water is turned on. The next day the smell noticeably diminished and was replaced by a pleasant citrus smell! Haven't experienced any blockages in our new home yet, but I'll let you know if it happens. I will continue to use them a few times a month to keep things smelling fresh.

They really work. I have a sensitive nose and when I first went to the sink I noticed an unpleasant smell. At first I thought it was a tea towel but no, it was the pipe itself. Tried the old baking soda and vinegar trick but it didn't work for more than a few days. Then I discovered these little chopsticks you throw down the drain once a month and they really work. Also, I love that they come packaged monthly in a box with little compartments so you know if you've used your wand that month.

I received 4 packs, each lasts 1 year. 4 year old drainage sticks for $12 is a good price. So far they seem to be working fine. My only concern is that many of the sticks were broken into pieces when I received them. This is a packaging issue as they are packaged with a thin plastic top and thin cardboard backing.
