Clear IPG Premium Packing Tape 1.88 Inches X 60 Yards Single Roll Review

This is the best, most sturdy packing tape. I've been using it in my book business for years and also every time I move. Great competitive price, too.

I reordered this tape after going through several rolls that I had purchased last year. The quality has dropped a great deal--the tape is really thin now compared to how it used to be, it tears too easily, and just feels cheap. If the quality doesn't improve, I'm buying a different brand next time (I'm made I bought another four rolls of this newer, cheap-ier style). I love that it's made in the USA, but that can't make up for the tape's (now) low quality.

I picked up a partial roll of this for a sale at an estate sale. Didn’t really know what "kind” of tape it was because no labeling on it but it worked so well. I’ve tried Al kinds of tapes to do framing of my art. Duck tapes… several types, the clear shipping tapes, etc. nothing holds the dust covers on the backs of the art like this tape. And it makes the look so professional. I ordered a bunch and will order again.

We were looking for a brown paper tape for use in sealing packages wrapped in brown paper. We are very pleased with this tape. It is heavy, strong tape. It is also very nicely sticky (unlike some other brown paper tapes we've tried), so we always have great confidence that it will hold a package shut, even when being sent through the mail. We recommend it!

I needed a strong tape that was not clear because I recycle a lot of boxes and do not like all of the logos andadvertising on boxes now. This worked just fine.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TAPE!When I mo ed the last time, the mover left this tape. It was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, so when I ran out, I searched for the name brand and reordered. Don't have to worry about it drying up and lifting. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!

I have been using a similar tape that I have been buying locally until they stopped selling it. 😒 I found thisoin line & LOVE IT. Unfortunately it's 5x more expensive but it works so here I am buying it! It is super adherent & strong but easiy to remove. I use it for everything.

It's more light weight than the u-haul version and does tend to peel off at the corners. Each time I check my storage I have to reseal down the corners of some of the tape.

Good tape - but not quite what I was looking for. That doesn't detract from the quality, but I just wanted a lighter tape similar to masking tape, but colored more like cardboard. This tape is much heavier and honestly better quality than I needed. It has a coating to resist moisture which works well. I didn't really get it for sealing boxes - but it would be great for that.

This tape is amazing. The only caution is that some labels do not adhere to the tape so you may need to cover with regular tape to get them to stick. However, this tape is strong and durable. I use it on the edges of cartons to make them more secure and it covers holes and spots that clear take can not.

I bought this tape to cover large bar codes and brand names on cardboard boxes, and it mostly does the job. Super adhesive, strong and thick paper tape, but not completely opaque. It has a slightly shiny, translucent quality. Probably will try another brand before I bought this again.

High quality paper tape. Thick and sticks very well. Served its purpose for my project. Would highly recommend if you need a think paper tape for any project.

This tape has a matte' paper finish that you can write on and paste shipping labels over. The last roll of paper tape that I bought (different brand) has a glossy finish that won't do either. It's incredible how hard it is to find tape like this in the stores around here. I'm really glad I found this on Revain. It's a lot less expensive that buying it in the stores, too.

Heck . I wish I knew about this stuff sooner! I always thought this type of tape needed a special machine to saturate the bottom of the tape, this is all you need . and it works just as well! This will seal a cardboard box better than any clear tape you've got. It almost feels that the tape bonds with the cardboard fibers. Highly recommended!

Fantastic product! I wanted to create a giant cardboard cursive letter, but could not find what I wanted. This tape was a came changer and I made my own letter.

I purchased this tape as an alternative to plastic (mostly for aesthetic reasons), and have been very pleased with its performance. It's thick enough that I feel confident in taping packages with it, and the adhesive is very strong. No complaints.(This brown tape is self-adhesive - it does not require water to activate).

Shinier than most kraft papers and corrugated cardboards, but that isn't a big issue. It gums up the scissors you use pretty significantly, but the tape itself also picks up that adhesive off the scissors really well.

If you’re moving, these tapes are the best! You don’t have to worry about cutting it without scissors and you don’t have to worry about looking for something to open the boxes with when unpacking. Where have you been all my life?!

I was specifically looking for this kind of paper tape. It's remarkably difficult to find this in brick and mortar stores, and so it was nice to have it painlessly delivered to my house in such a short period of time for free. Great tape, good adhesive, strong paper.
