A bit wet (sorry) and I have to use a very light hand and then press once on a paper towel before applying to the final surface. I like the dark brown, but it's a bit annoying and I use other ink pads instead. Tried on paper, cardboard and fabric (muslin) with good results.

I am confident that this product will work well and I will update my review when I get a replacement that is on the way. This product arrived open and leaked all over the inner packaging, covering my desk (permanent ink!) and clothes (permanent ink!). Be sure to check the inner packaging before removing the plastic to prevent it from spreading everywhere.

So the ink pad was dry and when I looked at the back I saw it was made in 2012. So it sucks. However, when I requested a refund, they refunded me immediately and didn't require me to send it back, so I give them 5 stars for their customer service. As for the product itself. I would give 0 stars but since they were so nice and quick to return my money I would rate them 3 stars in the middle.

Bought a separate rubber stamp and used this ink to stamp cotton muslin bags for wedding favors. Worked great, very happy. I only stamped on the ink pad a few times to get a good layer and stamped the pockets with lots of power and the image looked great. The ink pad stayed wet as I worked and as long as I stamped the pad correctly the image came out the same every time.
