Hack in less than 6 months.

This is a good start and my son loves it. I bought them in November 2018 and in May 2019 they started cracking. Photos show current condition. Used about 4 times a week since purchase. My son likes to take them because of the cracks that are starting to irritate his face. They are supposed to have a 1 year warranty but I have no idea how to verify that. UPDATE I have changed my original 1 star rating to a 3 star due to Cliff Keen's customer service. I sent pictures of the problem and they will…

Best quality on the market

My son who has years of experience with different styles of hedgers LOVES this model. He had Asics, Adidas and others. Now his choice is Cliff Keen Models. He says he's light, hardly moves and is barely noticeable. He had a Cliff Keen F-5 model and used it to the last breath which was close to 5 intense seasons. Make no mistake with Cliff Keen products. The best quality on the market. One major improvement we noticed is that the Fusion fits his head better. The back straps appear to be a bit…

Only others find cauliflower ear cool

Bought for BJJ. Just a month and there's already cabbage, no thanks. I'm pretty skinny with a big head, so guys always go for headlocks. I needed this thing to be in a stable, thin form, not training partners' urine. Does/eats all these things. Both Gi and No-Go have no complaints. Those who don't mind wearing a hat in the presence of potato-eared gorillas don't mind wearing a hat in class A1. I machine washed it in a laundry bag to protect it a little more. I wash it less often than the gi…

Fits large heads of protective gear

I am a 30 year old male and weigh 240 pounds. I use this headgear suitable for jiu-jitsu. My head is quite big and they fit my head perfectly. This is by far the most comfortable hat I have ever worn. The straps do not pinch or scratch at all. The cups feel soft on my head, soft on my wrestling partner but contain a hard shell for protection. I'm also bald and the hat still doesn't slip when grappling. This is a very secure fit. That's 10 times better than the old Asics headphones I wore. The…

Best I've found for BJJ

There are no perfect headphones. They all slip a little no matter how tight you tighten them and look damn silly. They are as comfortable as possible, protected and non-intrusive as far as is possible at this time. The chin strap is the most comfortable I've ever used and the button closure is great for quick dressing. The headbands are easy to adjust but I would have preferred 4 over 3 but that's my preference. That works fine. The ear pads are easy to clean, have a fairly flat profile, and…

Saved my ears/ BJJ is good for other sports

I've been using this hat for a little over a year. I love my workout partners, but after draining two light cases of cauliflower cobs, I had to do something. According to research, this was the best choice for protecting my ears and my training partners. Only disappointment as mentioned in other reviews they cracked within two months. I used to read that this was normal so I didn't contact the company but now I wish I had. The Velcro chin strap became less secure after about 8 months. Straps…
