ClosetMaid 4595 Modular Closet Storage Review

I was so excited when I found an item that would fit my space without modification, unfortunately once assembled the product is poorly finished, the drawers won't stay on the rails and keep falling off! Now my dilemma is whether to keep and modify them because taking them apart would be a big problem and the packaging they came in has no chance of sending them back!

Installation Complete, EXCLUDES units!. This is how your boxes fall out! Great reliable unit but it left us stumped as it took almost a whole morning to assemble on my ONLY day off only to find the unit didn't work - it broke! Support delayed their final decision after talking for over a week and emailing to let us know they will be replacing it! DID NOT OFFER US A PLUMBER OR CREDIT FOR IT - RETURNED -

We waited 2 weeks for a replacement part for 1 which arrived broken. So this block sits half assembled on my dining table - for 2 weeks! Allow enough space to carefully inspect each item upon receipt. The maid will send a replacement but be prepared to wait. I bought 3 organizers and need parts for each of them. Sigh. They fit together quite easily - should be soft, not too hard and strong enough for my 10 year old.

Love these towers as a base for a wardrobe upgrade! As a result we bought 7 of these towers plus doors. In one of the towers I simply replaced the walls with longer boards bought from Lowe to hang my clothes on. A very simple replacement for this girl with absolute basic knowledge of craftsmanship. Ok disclaimer it wasn't that easy to assemble and we bought two. One step in particular should have been explained more clearly with a few additional drawings. But we did it. The end product was truly amazing. Units look unusual. They last longer than I initially thought as they look superficial in the photos. I was remodeling my daughter's wardrobe and she wanted this exact item and there just aren't many options. that they are not very durable. I have no doubt they will probably last 3-5 years at most and then everything will break, but by then she will be older and want other options. The second complaint I have is that their DEPTH isn't deep.
