I bought size 3-6 and size 3T for three and two year old (27 months) children. Both fit, but both have thin torsos. My kids are both average height/not at all stocky. In my opinion, the size 3-6 months is more suitable for the size 3 months, but with longer arms. And the size 3t is more suitable for 2t! But I still recommend buying them! Very cute and cozy.
