While this towel is not absorbent as you would expect a towel to be when you get out of the shower. I washed them in hot water and dried them twice before using them. I took them back to the laundry to be washed and dried a few more times, hoping they would turn into towels and not towel-like, water-resistant items. And no, I do NOT use fabric softeners or dryers.

I love these bath towels! They are thin so small when rolled up (I can fit 4 of these in my reasonable sized beach bag along with toys and water bottles). They are BIG so wrap up wet kids well. They dry quickly when left in the sun. The colors have withstood many uses/washing. I'm really so happy with it! If only kids would stop fighting over who gets which color.

Bought as a gift for my brother who (repeatedly lol) tried to steal my Turkish terry towel on the beach. This set has very pretty muted color stripes and a natural cotton base with a terry backing that is hard to find. Most in this style are bright and too colorful for his liking. He loved them and says they are soft, wicks well and dries quickly when laid out. Now his girlfriend is trying to steal it from him!

The best towels! I love the large sizes and they are very absorbent! I love the variety of colors and I love that they dry quickly when hung on a towel rail. They washed well with no color scuffing, first time I washed them in cold water without soap and hung them up to dry. I was also surprised how soft they really are! It was a bonus. I can recommend these towels. They are attractive enough to be used for tossing and big enough to cover yourself completely!

The towels are generally a good size and color. But I don't think these are real Turkish towels. I think they are designed like turkish towels. When I used them after the first wash (as recommended), I had lint from the towels and had to wash them again. Also, they have to be washed separately, which worries me because I hate washing tons of clothes. I'm not entirely disappointed in them, but I think next time I'll have to buy elsewhere.
