Clover 8900 Felting Needle Tool Review

Excellent quality, thoughtful design and quiet spring action. I use this for flat items like leaves and stems or large sheets of handmade felt. I also have a Clover felting tool that I use with two or three finer felting needles. Both cost a little more than the generic tools! This marker works great! and I have hitherto pierced many felt things with it, and the needles have not broken. Works great with my shetland wool but also with merino, merino just takes longer to get what you need. I always end up using a needle in my etsy wood holder for merino felting. If you're just thinking about getting into felting, I definitely recommend you try it because it's so much fun!

As a felter I find this tool invaluable. I use it in almost all my projects at some point. Either to start modeling or to felt flat faster. The shape works very well and is very comfortable in the hand. I love that the retractable sleeve protects you from sharp needles during storage, but stays in place during use so it doesn't get lost. Good design! 5 needles quickly take care of any project you take on.
