Precise Cuts: Milling Machine Parts and Accessories

I used these bits to make cabinet doors and panels for my kitchen island. They create a slimmer profile than other $50 sets I have. I used a 1.75 hp router. (slightly short for raised panels). The bits didn't burn as easily as the cheaper bits. The patterns match perfectly. Mine came in a foam sleeve. The bits feel high quality.

Great beats, thin case.

I love CMT bits but the case that comes with this set is NOT the one shown. Rather than the custom hardwood case shown in the photo, my set comes in a polypropylene case which is MUCH larger for this set and not as cool as the hardwood case that should have come with them. The pictures themselves are beautiful, but the picture is deceptive.

Superb Bit Set

Upon receipt I used this bit set to assemble the raised plate. The cuts were unusually smooth. The bit heights match. I've made comb notches, changed bits, and made notches on the bars without changing the bit height. The grate and grill are perfectly matched. Again, without changing the bit height, I cut out the raised panels. They fit perfectly. I had to use 3 rubber grommets (as Mark Sommerfeld recommends) in my porter cable router to get the bit into the collet properly. I recommend this…
