Not Worth Your Money

When I tried this router bit, it immediately started wobbling and left an uneven cut on my woodwork. The material is of poor quality and completely unreliable..

Great Router Bit for My Workshop!

My analysis of this industrial and scientific router bit showed that it is a great addition to my cutting tool collection. It's made of high-quality materials and has a 2-inch diameter that enhances precision. The bit can cut through materials like plywood, MDF, and hardwoods with ease. However, the only downside is that it may not be suitable for small-scale projects due to its size. Overall, I am impressed with the router bit's durability and performance and it's a great investment for any…

Pros
  • Sturdy and reliable construction
Cons
  • Not suitable for small scale woodworking projects

Premium cutter

CMT is an excellent quality C4 carbide bit. I use this bit in an HP 2 1/4 PC router. Its specific use is cutting dados with a homemade milling jig. Does it flawlessly. Dado crisp and clean, no tearing. I have other CMT bits including a grooving kit. All of them cut smoothly and correctly. I also use Freud "Quadra Cut" bits. A design concept that CMT would love to adopt. However, this beat is great. I don't think another straight bit could have worked better.

Pros
  • CMT bits top rated compared to other brands (Wood Magazine test)
Cons
  • Not as thick as other bits
