Milling cutter also with a small motor

The product arrived well packaged. Mostly in the right conditions and with soft woods like pine I find this scream lasts for many hours. This drill worked well even after receiving a noticeable layer of resin from treated wet pine.

Pros
  • Milling cutter
Cons
  • Some errors

Planing large areas with a cutter knife

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the ad on the Revain site - it's a bit confusing that it shows a bat with a sleeve. If you don't know that you'll have to double-check the numbers to get a bit with or without a hub, you might be disappointed with what you were sent. The rest of the shipping packaging was excellent, the performance is excellent for the purpose. You rate 5 from my point of view.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great for planing on a router slide

I used it on a homemade router slide to level the panels. My router is a Bosch 1617 and I was concerned that it might be too big in diameter - I was arguing between a 1" or 1.5" diameter. You want the biggest you can get without overloading your router's performance. This 1.5" worked great, with a little overlap (1/8" - 1/2" at the extremes of my pitch) between passes. The longer shank was one of the reasons I chose this particular drill I decided - it allows more.. and down leaving enough…

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • High Price
