Like the shape! Feeler gauge

This form is best for checking the valve clearance on your 4-stroke motorcycle. The length allows for easy access, while the shape and taper allow you to move to where you need to get under those cams. Great tool!

Pros
  • Feeler gauge
Cons
  • if in doubt

Urgently needed for every metric motor!

They are different from most metric styli! Most probes you buy in the US that are listed in millimeters and inches are exact inches and approximate millimeters! They have exact values in millimeters and not in inches. It is much better to use these pressure gauges for engines that read in mm. I use them on my Honda CBR 600 F4i which defaults to metric specs and metric gasket sizes. Distances are converted to inches, but metric values are more accurate. Also, it's so tedious to calculate the gap

Pros
  • Test, measure and verify

Absolutely perfect for dipstick

They came in the mail fully oiled so no corrosion. They were also perfectly sealed in a plastic container. I had to adjust the valve clearances on my bike to 0.03mm inlet and 0.08mm outlet and they went down to 0.02mm. You should always buy probes that are thinner and thicker than you need, the average measurements in a set are more accurate than the largest and smallest. I can't tell you how insanely much I had to bend my arms and gauges just to get into the gap where the valves were in my…
