I should have looked more closely before buying. Also the wall anchors didn't work and fell into the wall when screwed in. First of all, as a previous reviewer said, this is NOT white. It's a gray-beige color, not terrible, but definitely not white. I'm planning to spray it as I don't want it to be that visible on my white wall. Second, it doesn't open to the right as shown in the photos (like you open a book). It opens on the left, which seems odd to me. If you look closely at the photo, you can see that when you open it on the right side, all the hooks are upside down. So that's obviously not an option.
