I mainly use them for water bottles in my daughter's rooms. Cold stuff but haven't tried hot cups. Easy to clean, non slip, I also use it to keep my phone straight to see something while I work lol. Happy with the purchase and very happy with the price.

Any moisture coming from your drink will splash onto any surface the coaster is placed on. The coasters are very cute, as can be seen in the picture, but they are not suitable as coasters. Any cold drink that has condensation on it will get water all over the surface underneath the coaster, making it pointless to have a coaster at all. I really wish they would work on my desktop for my computer but they just don't work with cold drinks, very sad.

They also protect against scratches. I like that I don't have to worry about them as they just stack on top of each other and don't take up space. They wash off easily and keep their shape and color!

*Updated: Now that I've been using these coasters for a while, I've noticed that they leave marks on my wooden coffee table (you can see outlines of different fruit shapes and patterns - the color doesn't fade) , but as a print) and the traces do not come off after normal cleaning of the table. I don't know how to take them off. We also wash coasters from time to time to rid them of coffee or dirt and let them dry completely before using them again. 2 stands instead of 1. I like the coasters but they aren't as thick and rubbery as some of the sturdy looking coasters you may have seen before. Yes, they are beautiful, but thin and fragile, like a slice of turkey. I wish they were thicker and rubbery. They are literally smooth on one side and a bit rough and gauzy on the other. They are cute but I think I will send them back. Update 2/16/21: THEY LEAVE RINGS ON THEIR FURNITURE, THEY DO NOT WORK AT ALL. I will definitely be returning these!

I ordered these a few weeks ago and really liked them, they were thick and didn't slide on any surface so I bought another set. When I received the second set I had to double check to make sure I got them from the same seller because they are much thinner and only one of the six actually "sticks" to surfaces.
