Description of 🔧 Optimize Performance with Cobra Carbide 23718 Regular Diameter Tool

Solid carbide tools offer long tool life and faster cutting speeds than other substrates, but are more brittle and must be used with rigid toolholding systems. Titanium nitride coatings add a hard layer of gold-colored ceramic to the surface that extends tool life and permits faster cutting speeds than uncoated tools. Round shanks allow use with a wide variety of toolholding systems. Center cutting geometry. Designed for milling, slotting, profiling and trace milling.

Failed to Cut It in my review

This milling accessory was a disappointment. Despite being labeled as suitable for industrial and scientific use, it did not live up to expectations. The edges quickly wore down and became unusable, making the product a waste of money. The only positive is that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, this is outweighed by the fact that the tool failed to perform its basic function effectively.

Pros
  • High-quality carbide material ensures longer tool life and improved performance
Cons
  • Prone to chipping and breaking under heavy pressure or sudden impacts

Cool little tailor! the best of cutting tools

Very impressed! I had to drill/mill a hardened steel pin and this little suction cup gnawed at it like aluminum! Being a hard cemented carbide, it is very brittle and breaks easily, so be careful. Do not press the handle hard when cutting. Just the lightest downward pressure is all you need. If pressed, it breaks. The hole in the middle helps this cutter to work. I love this brand!

Pros
  • Spherical tip
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Are you kidding me!

Let's start by saying I really have nothing to analyze. This review does not refer to the product, but to the manufacturer who sent me the tool. Not only did I receive the wrong tool in the correctly labeled packaging, but it was used. I am ordering a 3/8" 4 tooth carbide ball mill and received a 4 tooth square HSS milling cutter in the ball mill tube. To top it all off all four corners of the ball mill have been rounded and the tool is USED! Be careful with COBRA products guys Accusize tools…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Some errors
