Great for small children's hands. Says it works up to 8 miles, a quarter mile max. Disappointed with the distance it works.

I bought these for my grandkids and they are fantastic! They take them on bike rides around the neighborhood and check them out along the way. You are perfect!

They're good for short distances, but don't think they'll cover 8 miles! You don't even walk 1/2 mile. They are also good, but actually intended distance.

This is a piece of junk, ordered them twice thinking the first one was an accident but the second order had 3/ 4 that didn't work!

Not sure if I received a damaged set or if it's a bit faulty. They worked great the first time I used them, but I just started using them again and they only worked intermittently.

It seemed that the battery connection points were of poor quality. Walkie-talkies are often simply turned off immediately after being switched on. I had to take the batteries out, put them back in, and turn them back on. But then the same thing would happen again. In terms of range, it was at least 0.3 miles from our house to the nearby interstate, as we sometimes picked up talking truckers. I haven't tried it over long distances yet. returned product.
