shake it! in Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Thought it would be interesting to try. It wasn't expensive but seemed well made. Bought it, tried it, doesn't leak, fell apart when the drink was done and enjoyed it! This is the correct size. The pestle mixes in, the sieve tightens and the stirring spoon mixes. Didn't need or want an opener or filler cap. The price was right

Good product for the money though.

Good set for preparing cocktails at home for the price. Nothing fancy but includes everything you need to make drinks. However, it came in a torn box and all items were just flying around in the Amazon shipping box. (NO BOX AND TRADE TO PROTECT THE ITEM) Definitely not a gift. At first I thought it was openly used, but upon inspection it showed some signs of wear. Terrible packaging and terrible delivery. One star for that.

Very pleased with the look and feel

I made my first martini in a Boston shaker last night and it worked great (ie didn't leak). The sieve pours out the liquid drip-free. The pestle is big and strong, and I use the pestle a lot when making mint cocktails. I actually bought this set for the bar spoon, muddler, strainer and Boston shaker and I am completely satisfied with this set. I will most likely not be using pouring glasses as I don't want the spirit exposed to air and I will not be using a small shot glass as my cocktails use…

Advantages and disadvantages. best bar sets

I've been a bartender all my life. I started where they didn't have the best tools. Most of us like weighted Boston shakers so after reading so many reviews I settled on this set. After all, the price was attractive! I like how thick the walls are and how heavy they are. It chills cocktails very quickly and you can see the frost on the outside of the shakers (hence very cold hands but we work at a tiki bar in Florida so won't complain in the summer lol).
