DO NOT BUY! in sports water bottles

I bought it a week ago and I immediately noticed that it can't keep drinks cold for 6 hours. The ice melts within the first hour. A container of Tal can sit in the car for hours and the ice still won't melt as fast as the Coleman did in the first hour. I know vacuum bottles aren't supposed to work that way because I've had a few bottles before, Contigo, Ozark Trail, Valley etc. I bought these because of the auto top cap and it's 40oz larger since I've only had 24oz containers . I bought it…

Thoughtful design, 24 hours plus ice cold

Great for cold drinks, this thermos will keep ice overnight and we'll be using it the next day. It has several qualities that make this double-walled thermos better than any other I own (even compared to a hydroflask). There is a small pin on the lid that can be fixed to prevent opening. Easy to use with one hand. Parts inside the lid break off, allowing you to get anywhere (my Contigo lid works similarly but cannot be fully cleaned). The outer wall has a nice texture that is easy to hold on…

Great water bottle, no sweat, NO WARRANTY

I love this bottle. Autoseal flow rate is good and fast. Seals well. Keeps my cold water nice and cold for a long time. I liked it a lot, I took the 24. Use both daily. Update (11/20/18): 4 months later and they don't keep my water cold even on a 2 hour car ride. I've only hand washed bottles and run Avex closures in the top shelf dishwasher once and they've lost their ability to keep drinks cold. I contacted the Coleman warranty (lifetime warranty against defects) and they said ice retention…

Ideal for storing beverages at room temperature

After looking for a quality water bottle I bought this. The packaging says that hot drinks stay warm for up to 24 hours and cold drinks for 58 hours. The first time I used it, I filled it halfway with ice, poured water in, and left it in the air-conditioned kitchen while I worked around the house. Within an hour all the ice had melted and the water was cool but definitely cold. After drinking the water, I filled it with ice to the brim and then poured water in. I went back there after a little…

Holds ice for days!

Great thermos flask! I did a leak test upon receipt and even after being upside down for a day there were no leaks at all. Did a full ice water test and with an outside temperature of 80 degrees I got 2 full days of ice. I use mine for water and sometimes sports drinks and it works great for that purpose. I can't say this works or is recommended for carbonated or carbonated drinks based on how the mouth seal works and design. I would be concerned that pressurization could deform or damage the…

Great water bottle

Great water bottle! I've had this 40 ounce Coleman for a few weeks now and it's definitely my favorite water bottle I've ever used. For ice cream lovers, I can say mine lasts almost a full day - it depends on how often I fill it up. I can easily fill this bottle 3 times and keep the same ice cream for about 12 hours at work. I've also noticed that my ice lasts at least 24 hours if I don't refill. I bought 40 ounces of Revain. My kids loved it too, and when I happened to find 24-ounce bottles…

Hard to keep clean (lid)

I bought this thermos because of the size and the cap which initially made it leak proof. It was very nice that the drink lasted most of the day, washed with soap and hot water every day and brushed every other day. Little did I know that moisture accumulates deep inside where the brush cannot reach due to the narrowness. I've used vinegar and baking soda and it didn't help. What works is the water image. Attached is a photo taken after cleaning. I was amazed at the amount of dirt left after…

Great bottle, best spout design

I love this bottle. I bought a similar one from Walmart a few months ago but the insulation must have failed, the freezing water only stays cold for a few hours. I couldn't return it or contact the manufacturer so I contacted Revain for a replacement. I'll say right away that I love the color, the dark green that Coleman uses is my favorite color. The top is my favorite part. I wasn't sure if he had a pen or not. I couldn't tell from the photos if it was spring loaded, part of a lock, or…
