As other reviewers have pointed out these toothpaste tubes are falsely advertised. They are in 4 ounce packages and the TSA allows a maximum of 3.4 ounces to be carried in bags. Of course, putting toothpaste in your checked baggage or using it a few days before travel isn't a big deal, but that's the principle.

I have clear braces and now I have to brush my teeth all over after eating. I thought it would be useful to carry it with me at all times. Advertised as 2.8oz but it's 2.5oz which wouldn't be a deal breaker but the expiry date is May 2020 and I'm not happy with that. Also, I envisioned the tube being slightly larger than two tiny travel-size tubes, but it was one long tube which felt larger. We will return 2 tubes.

The description clearly states that 2 packs of 2.4 oz. travel size. I received 2 packs of 4 oz tubes. I came back and said what I received was not as described and ordered a replacement. I have the same 2.4 oz again.

Colgate makes quality toothpaste. This particular product is perfect for travel. It's small enough that you can leave it in your carry-on when going through TSA screening at the airport. Smaller sizes are overpriced and often not enough for a week-long vacation.

Why are standard travel toothpastes so small? For almost every other travel product, containers exceed the TSA limit, but somehow toothpaste makers have to think the limit is one ounce. This size solves that problem and stops you from having to keep buying new travel toothpastes in the middle of a trip and, most importantly to me, reduces all the unnecessary packaging that comes with buying such a small container.

Meets TSA security requirements 3 ounce carry-on and fits two people for nearly a week. Definitely surpasses the so-called 'travel size' - much less than 1 ounce sold in pharmacies and supermarkets. They are very expensive per ounce and are only good for overnight trips.

I did not receive the 2.8 oz tubes listed. The tubes I received were 2.5 oz. There isn't much of a difference, but on a trip there can be a difference if it's empty or not. Also, I'm specifically ordering these (I've ordered them before) because I like to have a flip cover attached as shown in the picture. This makes travel easier.
