All my family and friends think I need a dog. I think otherwise! I instead bought an adorable wooden possible dog lamp and put this collar and a dog tag on it.I am having the last laugh!

Smidgen loves wearing her necklace. When we have it off, after a bath, we show it and ask if she wants her necklace, she comes running.

other collars we were getting were giving out dog sores on his neck from the buckles and the edges at stiching. this one has smooth rounded edges and the hardware doesn't rub his neck. hasn't had any sores since we started using this collar. Love it.

The color is very pretty, and it's very soft. I don't think it's real leather. She's only had it on for a couple of days and I can already see signs of wear. I'll update in a couple of weeks.

I purchased this after measuring my dog's neck and think if I went one size smaller I would have not had any issues. I still ordered within his size, but his measurements were at the lower end of this size, so there was a lot of collar left after being buckled. I have purchased several collars here at home that do not buckle. I am an older person and I do not have the strength in my wrists to push the mechanism in the collar to open them. When I bathe her or trim her I have had to cut them off and buy new. I so appreciate that I found a collar that buckles. Thank you.

I’ve had this collar for about two years now. I use this collar for an ID tag that slides on a rolled collar (see silver cylinder in picture) and this collar is perfect for that. It is soft and comfortable on her all day everyday. With a 50 pound dog, I would not use this collar to attach a leash. Will purchase again!

I preferred rolled collars for our dogs, and this one is a good replacement, except for the D ring. We use a harness 95% of the time, but when we occasionally least up to just this, it seems really insubstantial. Has been fine so far, but would have preferred a bit thicker metal. Leather and stitching seem fine and while we've only had this a month, seem like they will hold up well.

The red color towards the end of the collar began coming off quickly, probably because the leather loop to hold it is a bit small and awkward to insert, so it's constantly falling out and hanging where my dog can get it in her mouth. I would probably try to find something with a metal loop for the excess collar to slide under. Other than that, it's a cute collar and does what it needs to for now.

Our groomer recommended we find a rolled leather collar for boots, because her neck fur would always up end terribly matted.
