Description of Colonial Needle Tapestry Petites Needles

The most distinguishing characteristic of John James needles is their reputation for quality. These tapestry needles have a shorter, easier to control length plus the added feature of gold plating. Made in United Kingdom

My favorite needles!

I like these needles, the small needles are much easier to work with when sewing on even fabrics like 32 gauge linen, they allow me to sew the ends much more precisely and glide well over the fabric . My dears, no doubt.

Pros
  • Yarn Needles
Cons
  • New Competitors

I love these needles - they're great when you are.

I love these needles - they are great for very small designs or tight spots on the hoop/hoop. They will take some getting used to if you are used to full size John James needles - maybe try a few trial stitches first.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

My Favorite Cross Stitch Needles

I was so happy to find these little John James Tapestry Petites in stock. They have been my favorite cross stitch needles for many years and I was dismayed to find that they are now very hard to find. Their shorter length compared to normal tapestry needles makes them easier to work with and more economical with thread - extra stitches are possible. They slip through clothing very easily. They are a pleasure to embroider and I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Needle Point
Cons
  • Not Sure
