Desk Organizer with Three Bins by Colonial Tin Works Review

VERY rough sharp edges. Felt dirty then looked at my hands and they were BLACK! Very dirty. I had to wipe it all off and the black paint was spreading from the handle and a few other spots. Everything felt dirty and chalky, but the edges were so sharp they were difficult to wipe off.

It could be so cool but the compartments aren't the right size. The two tiered compartments on the left for a small planner, notepad, etc. are too narrow as the pencil/pen compartment on the right is too large. Stationery falls into the compartment and is difficult to find. Compartment for pencils/pens over 5 inches wide.

This item is amazing! It's a bit big for pens and pencils, but I put some glass beads on the bottom and it works great. I received several compliments while working on it. I have pens and pencils in the lower compartment and note cards and sticky notes in the other two. It's big and just as cute as the pictures.

The electroplated metal was almost yellow when we received it and the label and grip areas are definitely quite worn. It was the perfect size for what I needed so I kept it. I used steel wool to clean it up and bring back that beautiful electroplated look. It has sharp edges and I cut my finger cleaning it. But they're in places we wouldn't normally be able to reach. There are also small cuts on the metal on the front that aren't entirely clear. I think maybe it was made from scraps someone…
