🌈 Children's Colorful Charcoal Toothbrush for Effective Whitening Review

I was excited to try these brushes because I thought they were very soft. I have a few exposed roots and generally sensitive gums so I've been searching. Unfortunately, when brushing my teeth, the bristles seemed almost sharp, I could feel them poking at my gums, although they're not technically "hard". Anyway, back to finding a soft toothbrush.

Pretty good toothbrush. I used to use the Colgate ones which I really like but decided to try these as the price was better. It's a bit harder on my gums than Colgate, at least the first pair I used. They are fine now but the first time I used them they damaged my sensitive gums. A dental hygienist once told me to soak my toothbrush in hot water before using it, and I forgot. Will do this when I change the one I'm using as I change it every 3 months.

Within two weeks my teeth were visibly whiter. And noticeably more sensitive within three weeks. Now, nine months later, there are multiple spots where the toothbrush has pulled my gums from my teeth. Even my sensitive toothpaste can't quite hide the pain of exposed nerves. Now I realize that I may not have brushed my teeth well, but having used an extra soft brush for most of my adult life, I didn't know until I switched to these brushes. For those who only use soft toothbrushes, this is a treat. However, I will say if you prefer medium or hard toothbrushes, this probably won't work. I want maximum results so I combine it with charcoal based toothpaste so maybe my whitening results are due to that combination. But I'm sure you can get maximum results with regular whitening toothpaste as well.

I ordered these to use with charcoal toothpaste but now I use them with the toothpaste I am using at the time. I love how they feel in my hand, the size/shape of the head, and how the bristles feel along the gumline - like they're actually going between my teeth to clean. Many of the better known brands are currently using rubber bristles, flexible heads etc which feel hard on my gums and don't seem to clean between my teeth. Great toothbrushes! They are very soft but still strong enough to do a good cleaning job. I especially like the size of the head. Many toothbrushes have such a large head that I find it difficult to move them around in my mouth without scratching my gums. After using these toothbrushes my mouth feels sparkling clean and my teeth look a little whiter. This 5 pack is a great price too.

There is a lot of good in this product. The handle is comfortable and well made, but the bristles are too rough for my sensitive gums. :(I have Colgates brushes floss tip which saved my gums but I was looking for a cheaper alternative unfortunately I just lost $10 I'll have to see if I can give them to someone as they don't work for me.
